Message from the Founder and Executive Chairman
In 1997, we have completed the design and construction of the first of now many hospitals of the Medical Park Health Group. Back then, the healthcare sector was still thriving in Turkey. In the 22 years that have passed, the group, which has been branded as Medical Park Healthcare Group, MLP Care and Liv Hospitals Group, has continued its development and finally opened to the stock market. I share my pride with my team for building these hospitals, designed under my signature, that has helped patients reaching millions in number and still continues to increase the quality of healthcare services and provides patient safety and comfort to the highest level.
Cultural heritage and historical monuments projects, which have a very important place in my professional life, will continue to be an important part of our work in an even more powerful fashion with the experience and knowledge of Visutera. Within the scope of historical monument projects work that we have started in 1997, we completed the restitution and restoration projects for historical monuments registered as cultural heritage of Turkey and listed as part of World Heritage by UNESCO and brought it to our country surveying. Republic of Turkey General Directorate of Foundations have been called us to duty for these cultural heritage projects that are close to an extravagant 1,000,000 m2 in area.
We carefully gathered a powerful consultants team in years which consist of Turkey's leading architecture and fine arts professors and academics to undertake intensive studies. As a result, the techniques we developed have achieved great success. Today, these techniques are among the standards of the General Directorate of Foundations and Protection Boards. One of the most important elements in our projects was our ability to assess the historical document value of a given building and millimetrically accurate measurements obtained with the "Laser Station" device, utilised by us in Turkey for the first time. Resulting models and digital drawings are created with the help of 3D scans, 2D cross-sections scans and views obtained with the help of Laser Stations. Prior to the introduction of Laser Stations, simple, painstaking and often error-prone measuring tools and techniques were used predominantly in classical architectural documentation and drawings of these works were presented in old-fashioned paper prints.
I have always believed that such intense experience will take its place in the global arena with the team I trained during this time. With its global vision and 45 years of experience, Visutera has taken its place in the industry as an architecture and technology company that undertakes the design, engineering and construction of iconic buildings. From now on, Visutera will focus on sustainability, creative design, innovative problem-solving and exceptional customer service, not only limiting its growth potential to the domestic market, but will also focus on building design and implementation worldwide.
